Chiropractic
Are you suffering
from neck, back, shoulder, arm, hip or leg pain? Chiropractic care
could be the answer, even if other approaches that you have tried
have failed. Chiropractic involves the adjustment or manipulation
of your spine to reduce nerve interference that can cause pain,
muscle spasm and a variety of other symptoms. Chiropractic is a
natural approach to health and wellness without the use of drugs
or surgery. At Hill Country Health Centers, Inc. our licensed chiropractors
have years of experience and can set you on the road recovery or
help you maintain an active and more pain free lifestyle.
Physical
Therapy
Do you suffer
with painful movement, restricted mobility or have difficulty performing
daily activities? Do you want to return to athletics, regain strength
and movement after a recent surgery or just be able to walk to the
mailbox without pain? If so, physical therapy can help. Physical
therapy involves the identification, treatment and prevention of
acute or chronic injuries, painful musculoskeletal problems, and
movement dysfunction. It is aimed at restoring optimal function
to people with injuries or pain. At Hill Country Health Centers, Inc.
the physical therapists will work with you to develop a personalized
treatment plan to meet your goals and get you back to a healthier,
more enjoyable lifestyle.

Massage
Therapeutic
massage is an age-old healing art. Hippocrates, the father of medicine,
prescribed it as a beneficial treatment for his patients. Massage
is a scientific method of manipulating the soft tissues of the body
to have specific effect. Massage therapy increases circulation,
improves tissue lymphatic drainage, relaxes muscles and relieves
pain. It also stimulates breathing that assists the flow of nutrients
& oxygen to tissues and creates a sense of well-being. Your
physical therapist or chiropractor may incorporate massage as a
part of your treatment program. Private massage sessions are also
available by appointment.
Acupuncture
A primary health
care modality in Asia for more than 2,500 years, acupuncture therapy
uses sterilized needles, pressure and herbs to heal the body. The
application of needles and pressure to specific points on the body
balances the flow of chi, the life force present in all living things.
Hill Country Health Centers, Inc. acupuncturist uses this holistic treatment
to treat pain and other bodily dysfunctions.
